So its been an interesting venture being a mom of 2, working full time for an ad agency, and running Creativo Advertising, my freelance business. Thankfully I have great support from my family and encouragement from friends and fellow designers, because working this many hours seems unheard of, and of course, its been most difficult for my two kids (almost 2 and 4).
I certainly love what I do and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. This fast paced, long hours and sole searching peoples businesses really can be gratifying. There’s nothing like seeing your work up on a billboard (CSLC), designing creative for a grand opening (LUXE), or designing a tropical logo (POCH) for a great new client.
I must say, it has been one long week (and its only half over, lol) but I look forward to many more like this!
